Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced on Friday that he is ending his campaign and endorsing former President Donald Trump. This decision reflects Kennedy’s alignment with Trump on several key issues, notably on cryptocurrency and financial freedom.
Kennedy, a strong advocate for cryptocurrency, expressed that his endorsement of Trump is influenced by the former president’s recent positive stance on digital currencies. Both Kennedy and Trump have shown support for the crypto industry, signaling a favorable environment for digital assets.
Kennedy revealed that he had met with Trump and his aides multiple times. During these discussions, he found common ground with Trump on several major issues, including border security, free speech, and ending ongoing conflicts.
Despite these areas of agreement, Kennedy acknowledged that there remain significant differences in their approaches to other issues.
As part of his endorsement, Kennedy announced that he would withdraw his name from the ballot in ten key battleground states that are crucial to the election’s outcome. However, he plans to continue his candidacy in other states where his presence may still impact the race.
